According to Adomnán, writing about a century after the events described, Irish monk Saint Columba was staying in the land of the Picts with his companions when he encountered local residents burying a man by the River Ness. Columba by Adomnán, written in the seventh century AD. The earliest report of a monster in the vicinity of Loch Ness appears in the Life of St. Public interest skyrocketed, with countless letters being sent in detailing different sightings describing a "monster fish," "sea serpent," or "dragon," with the final name ultimately settling on " Loch Ness monster." Since the 1940s, the creature has been affectionately called Nessie ( Scottish Gaelic: Niseag). The most powerful Yu-Gi-Oh cards in Yugi's deck have more than earned their place in the series' history. In August 1933, the Courier published the account of George Spicer's alleged sighting. Even Kaiba himself would have to (begrudgingly) admit that Yugi Muto's deck is the stuff of legends. But Yugi didn't compile this extraordinary deck overnight - it took many lost battles and plenty of refinement to get it where it is today. While it's important to remember that there are differences in gameplay between the licensed card game and the anime, there's no denying that Yugi has an impressive array of powerful cards. Some would consider Yugi's win a deus ex machina, while others would say that having faith in the cards bestowed some well-deserved luck. By drawing just the right combination of cards in the nick of time, Yugi succeeded in obliterating Kaiba's Blue Eyes White Dragon and avenging his grandfather. Against incredible odds, Yugi played this card (or rather, these five cards), for an automatic win in one of the series' most memorable battles. Even newcomers to Yu-Gi-Oh will remember Yugi's iconic duel with Seto Kaiba in episode 1 of the anime.
